The following institutions have been assessed in Online Learning within the last three years:

Before choosing in an online course, it's important to make sure the institution meets your needs. QS Stars criteria helps you focus on what really matters for your online learning experience. 

To qualify for evaluation, an institution must meet these criteria: 

• Have at least one fully online programme that has produced graduates 

• The online programme should grant an accredited degree 

• The institution should use a Learning Management System (LMS) 

• The institution must provide online access to library databases.

Student-faculty engagement  

Engaging directly with your professors gives you the chance to get tailored feedback on your assignments, which can really improve your grasp of the subject. Keeping in touch with them regularly can boost your motivation, which is especially important when you’re learning online. 

Points are awarded for institutions that have a scheduled one-to-one conversations or face-to-face components, such as an opportunity to meet faculty in-person, live tutoring and streaming course video, videos, pre-recorded course videos and faculty assessment.

Points are awarded for institutions that have an online forum or a discussion board, access to an online alumni network, live chat support, existence of a policy for monitoring student engagement, events for online students, online careers fair and evidence of online collaboration between course mates.

Access to student services and technology is vital for overcoming academic hurdles and technical glitches you might encounter in online learning. These resources support you through any challenges you face during your academic journey. 

Points are awarded for institutions who have customised access for users with special needs, a dedicated online career advisor, scholarships, advisory services for students from various backgrounds, enrolment process support and learning resources for individual study.
