The aim of the First Cycle Degree Programme in Business Economics is to produce business consultants qualified to work as accounting, administrative and legal experts or managers in companies and other organisations, as well as to work as freelance accountants or statutory auditors. On the one hand, the programme consolidates the accounting, administrative and legal studies undertaken by the students with a view to preparing them to work as accountants and statutory auditors. On the other hand, the programme seeks to produce business experts able to manage and direct companies for which they must have strategic, organisational, control and management skills. They must also be market oriented and have an integrated vision of the different functional areas of the business.  This programme is available in Italian and English.

Admission to the First Cycle Degree Programme in Business Economics requires possession of a secondary school diploma awarded after five years of study or a foreign qualification recognised as suitable.
Additionally, knowledge and competence in the following areas are required:
  • logical reasoning and mathematical skills
  • for the Italian taught curricula: English language skills at a level of (at least) A2, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
  • for the English taught curriculum: English language skills at a level of (at least) B1, based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
